Vault of Archavon on December 18th, 2008 by Unamithil
We did another Obsidian Sanctum last night to try and do it with 1 add up. But it didn’t succeed, so we had to do it with no adds.
But afterward Wintergrasp was on alliance hands, so we decided to give Vault of Archavon a try. We did with help from an ex-guildie, Elnaira. Unfortunately didn’t he drop anything we could use, so all items got disenchanted.
But we can now add Archavon to our kill list :)

Frostwyrm Lair Awaits on December 16th, 2008 by Unamithil
We continued where we left off last night and went to give Gluth some more tries.
It was a bitch, but as the night progressed we got the hold of him. We finally took him down! Good job to everyone, even though it might have taken a good amount of gold for repair bills, we learned how to do it for next time.

Thanks for a great first raiding week in Northrend! I didn’t imagine we would almost clear Naxx in our first week, so good job to everyone who participated!
Naxxramas; Four Steps Away on December 15th, 2008 by Unamithil
Tonight we continued where we left off Thursday. We started off in the Deathknight Quarter.
Instructor Razuvius was the first on the list, and he went down in first try.

Next on the kill list was Gothik the Harvester, which was a bit tricky, but in the third try he had to give in.

We continued to The Four Horsemen, but they couldn’t stand against us. We had them downed in our third try.

After The Deathknight quarters was cleared we headed for the Construct Quarters where Patchwerk was waiting for us. He went straight in the floor after a miss pull.

We ended up at Grobbulus, which our photographer forgot to take a picture of, after we killed him in our third try.

Naxxramas Down by Six on December 12th, 2008 by Unamithil
Arisens first raiding day finally came. We did start off early yesterday with a quick run to The Obsidian Sanctum which went quite well, so we were really excited to see how far we could go today.
We started with the Arachnid Quarter for an easy start, where we quickly got to Anub’Rekhan and he went down in our second try.

Next up was Grand Widow Faerlina - who didn’t stand a chance and went down in first try!

We ended up at Maexxna - who had to give up to us in our second try.

We continued to the Plauge Quarters to see how far we could get - after some stupid wipes on the trash we got the hold of it and got to Noth the Plaguebringer, who had to give in on the first try.

After that it was time for Heigan the Unclean - we had to learn the “dance” first, but we pretty quickly got the idea - so after around 4 tries we got him down.

But everything has and end - and for us it was Loatheb. After some semi-wipes on the gauntlet up to him, we finally arrived - and got him down in first try.

Arisen Returns to Raiding on December 10th, 2008 by Eternia
Sartharion Defeated: First Kill
Today saw the return of Arisen to the raiding scene. Unplanned we headed off to the Obsidian Sanctum (10), where we encountered Sartharion <The Onyx Guardian>.
We cleared all 3 of his adds and took him down very easily for our first. In the future we’ll probably be attempting this boss with more adds, but for now it was nice to get our first kill of Wrath of the Lich King.

Ashara and Dementhias baby has arrived. It turned out to be a little female night elf. We are not informed about the class and spec yet though.
A big congratulations from the whole guild to the new parents.

Hi everyone
Since the expansion is upon us, we felt like updating the design a bit. So I welcome you to the new Arisen website.
We have started with the front page, and we have introduced a new recruitment system, to prevent spam.
The forum is so far still the same, hence the design change when you enter the forum. But the forum is next and will be online during December along with raiding and dkp pages.

Arisen is open and available for recruitment again, in preparation for Wrath of the Lich King. We are ideally looking for tanks and healers as this is our priority at this moment in time. If you interested please head to our recruitment section on our forums and apply.
Just a reminder to those applying, Arisen is a social guild with raiding tendencies. We are not Hardcore but we like to raid and progress while enjoying the social factor of the game aswell.
